Sarvhitkari Educational  Society(Regd.}, Chandigarh (Punjab)  was started in 1970for imparting education on healthy lines. TheSociety is affiliated to “VidyaBharti” an All India Educational Body running over 28,8 61 Schools and Colleges all over the country with 32,33,377 Students and 1,57,741 Teachers. Sarvhitkari Education Society is its provincial unit of Punjab & Chandigarh .At presentit is running 123 schools with more than 50,000 students. We draw inspiration from Babu Dalip Chand Gupta Ji who was , the founder of Sarvhitkari Education Society. He not only guided with is mature advice but also helped us with liberal grants of money from time to time.Sharda Sarvhitkari Model Senior Secondary School, Sector40- D , Chandigarh,was founded by late Shri Shanti Sarup Sharda Ji ,aneminent industrialist of Mandi Gobindgarh in April, 1985.

        The school has a campus extended over 2.2 acres of land. The school had a humble star t with 100 students up to Nursery Level .Bu t with devoted efforts of members of the staff , Principal and the exemplary results of student since its inception, the school got overwhelming patronage of parents.The school grew from strength to strength, year after year and it has now 1565 students on roll with classes upto 10+2 level in all disciplines viz .Arts,Commerce &Science (Medical &Non -Medical) and has been affiliated to C.B.S.E. (NewDelhi). The schoolis managed by experience ededucationists, administrators drawn from various stratas of society who provide valuable guidance and also help the school in raising funds. The school is permanently recognized by the Chandigarh Administration.
